The 2023 Frontier does not come with a hitch built in, but can be purchased with a package.
When towing with the Nissan Frontier, the tongue weight should be between 10-15% of the towing weight and for trailer weights over 5,000 lbs, a weight distributing hitch should be used.

There are 4 trims in the 2023 Nissan Frontier. The main difference between these trim levels is the options available and the cosmetic additions that can be added. Each of these trim levels has various package options, bed lengths, cab sizes, and engine types, but this post will not go through all the options.

Cab and Bed Sizes
The cab types in the 2023 Nissan Frontier are King Cab and Crew Cab.
The King Cab is a two row cab which can seat up to 4 people. The back row is much smaller than the front and is smaller than the Crew Cab and has a partial door for passengers. It is available with the S and SV trims.
The Crew Cab is the larger of the two cab options and has two full rows. This means that the back row has a full door for passengers. It also can accommodate 5 passengers. It is available with the S, SV, PRO-X, and PRO-4X trims.
Bed Sizes
There are two bed sizes available with the 2023 Frontier. These are the 6 ft and 5 ft beds. These are referred to as the long and short beds respectively.
The King Cab only is available with the long bed and the Crew Cab has the option to have the short or long bed depending on the trim option.
Packages
The Nissan Frontier does not come standard with a trailer hitch (except the Crew Cab Long Bed S trim). However, they do offer packages were you can add this feature. There are two packages that offer the ability to improve towing performance.
SV Convenience Package
The SV convenience package is available with the SV trim on the King Cab or Crew Cab.

These weights can apply to a bumper hitch or tow hitch, however you should check that your hitch can accommodate these weights.
