2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 Oil Type and Capacities

Chevrolet recommends that for all oil changes in the 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500, ACDelco full synthetic 5W-30 motor oil is used.

For the engines that use 5W-30, during extreme temperatures and operating under -20F, 0W-30 oil can be used in its place. It is important that no additives are put into the engine oil.
