2022 Toyota Tacoma Oil Type and Capacities

Toyota recommends that for all oil changes in the 2022 Toyota Tacoma, genuine Toyota motor oil is used.

If Toyota engine oil is not available, an oil that meets the ILSAC-GF-5 multigrade oil specifications can be used.

Additionally, Toyota states that if SAE 0W-20 is not available, 5W-20 can be used in its place, but should only be used one change in a row.

The 2GR-FKS engine is a 6 cylinder V type engine.
