How often should you change your Tundra’s Oil?

Under normal driving conditions, Toyota says to change the oil every 5,000 miles or every 6 months in the 4.0 L, 4.7 L and 5.7 L engine.

This changes if operating on dirt roads, towing, driving in cold weather, or idling for long time periods.

If you do not choose to buy the recommended Toyota oil, you should try to always buy oil that has the API-certified logo on it.

This will ensure that the oil you are putting in your car conforms to the engine, emission system, and fuel economy standards set by the International Lubricants Specification Advisory Council.

And lastly, DO NOT USE SUPPLEMENTAL ENGINE OIL ADDITIVES!
